MOZZARELLA PIZZA WITH GREEN GODDESS SAUCE





This is the best vegan pizza I have ever made!! The mozzarella tastes exactly like the real thing and the simple flavours combined are just perfect! The green goddess sauce provides a fresh twist on this classic. Go check out angel food and find somewhere that stocks their products asap, you will not regret it.


Ingredients : Makes one pizza

Angel Food dairy free mozzarella (as much as you desire)
Pizza base 
3 Tbsp pizza sauce 
1/3 Red onion thinly chopped 
9-10 Halved cherry tomatoes
4-5 Basil leaves
Sprinkle of Chilli flakes

Green Goddess Sauce : 

1 cup of soaked cashews (soak for 3hours in cold water)
Handful of spinach
Handful of basil
Juice of a lemon
1 tsp crushed garlic
1/4 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste

Method :

For the Green goddess sauce. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor. 
Blend for 2 mins at high speed or until smooth. 

Lay pizza base on baking tray. Smooth pizza sauce evenly over the base with the back of a spoon. 
Thinly slice Angel Food’s dairy free mozzarella and place on top and scatter onion, tomatoes and basil. 
Heat oven to 180C. Cook in oven for around 20-25mins or until cheese is bubbling and the crust is golden brown. 
Drizzle over green goddess sauce and garnish with more basil, chilli flakes and salt and pepper. 
Use left over green goddess sauce to dunk the pizza in. Enjoy!
