TURMERIC LEMON BLISS BALLS

These little balls of goodness are perfect as a snack for the lunchbox or for anyone on the go. They don't have too many nuts in them which is rare for bliss balls, so they don't cost much to make! I have used Cocavo's turmeric lemon oil. I love there oils because they are made from premium coconut and avocado oil. It also adds such a depth of flavour which you can't get from regular oils. Spending a bit more money on quality oils is worth it. Highly refined and processed oils are not good for us in any shape or form, even in small amounts. Make the delicious change!

Ingredients : Makes 27 bliss balls (or more if you make them smaller)

2 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup chopped dates

1 Tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup desiccated coconut
1/4 cup each of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds
1 tsp ground turmeric
3/4 cup Cocavo turmeric and lemon oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 smooth peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Juice of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 lemon

Method :

Place all dry ingredients into a large bowl.
In a seperate bowl, melt the turmeric and lemon Cocavo, maple syrup, peanut butter and vanilla essence in microwave for 30 seconds, then mix until combined.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Squeeze over the lemon juice.
